Happiness is more than my destination. I avoid waiting for possessions, relationships, or experiences to make me happy. My bliss comes from within. It is my choice.

I maintain a cheerful attitude throughout the day. I view setbacks and disappointments as opportunities to learn and grow. I use positive language when I talk to myself. I focus on solutions and give myself credit for trying.

I see the good in the world. I search for silver linings. Even when I have a conflict with someone, I recognize their strengths and accomplishments.

I give others a reason to smile. Sharing my happiness leaves me with more than when I started.

I surround myself with love and support. My family and friends contribute to my happiness. They give me validation and affection.

I take care of my body. A calm and happy mind depends on adequate sleep, nutritious food, and regular exercise.

I eliminate obstacles to joy. I let go of grudges and resentments. I feel lighter when I am willing to forgive. I manage stress. I prevent mental and physical ailments that could interfere with my wellbeing. I keep myself strong and fit.

I develop gratitude and appreciation. I am content with what I have instead of craving more. When I count my blessings, I realize how much I have to be happy about.

Today, I remember that happiness is available to me now. I am in control of how I feel.
